Google Introducing Third-party Ads on the Content Network
Posted on May 22nd, 2008 by reviews
Google has recently began allowing third-party advertisers onto their content network. Now you’ll see a larger assortment of ads displaying on Adsense.
The Google content network now accepts display ads served from qualified third-party vendors. Third-party ad serving has been a longstanding request from top brand AdWords advertisers who use third parties to create and manage their online campaigns.
Limitations (this will change as they develop):
- Right now it is only available in English, but it will eventually be extended to other languages.
- Only images and Flash ads will display third-party advertising. Text ads are not included.

This is a great post. It is a very nice blog too. I add it to my favorites. Thank you
The more the merrier, right?
Maybe this will give the content network a little boost, which it could surely use.
It’ll be interesting to see how many 3rd party vendors will hop on board.
I did receive the newleter from adsense about this feature. I still reading about it. Do you try it up? and ow is the result?
Interesting, I may have to look up adsense a little more.
This new feature seems to be a good one. I read some articles about it, and it I think both parties could benefit with this feature.
Qualified ones? I wonder how Google determines who could be qualified. In any case, I think Google welcomes their competitors, which is a good thing.
Nice, I’ve been waiting for thrid party ads for a while now beleive it or not. They usually have a more professional look to them so it’s a welcome change.
