One of the best forms of link bait, depending on the type of site you have, is a quiz, where people can put a badge on their site. Just like Richard Ryan said. These are really popular among younger generations, and often are put on myspace pages, and other social network type pages. The only problem is that if the person puts it on his or her own site, it probably isn't getting a very high PR. But hey, its still a backlink, right?

Actually, linkbait sounds like a good idea. It's certainly something I didn't know about until reading this.

Great collection of original linkbait ideas!

Quick and easy tools always make fun linkbait for people. Or you can make a quiz where people get a little badge with their score to embed on their blog. Those are really popular!
