24 DoFollow Social Bookmarking Sites

DoFollow Social Bookmarking Sites

The following are Social Bookmarking Sites that provide dofollow backlinks to your site. As always, it is important to provide good content to these sites, as well as being relevant content to yours. Most importantly, we should not abuse or misuse these Social Bookmarking sites.

Are these really “DoFollow”? Read this to see other ways of blocking the spiders.

Ok, as I add new ones (or take away bad ones), then the number changes.

NoFollow - How the attribute is being interpreted differs between the search engines. While some take it literally and do not follow the link to the page being linked to, others still “follow” the link to find new web pages for indexing. In the latter case rel=”nofollow” actually tells a search engine “Don’t score this link” rather than “Don’t follow this link.” This differs from the meaning of nofollow as used within a robots meta tag, which does tell a search engine: “Do not follow any of the hyperlinks in the body of this document”.

What is a good way to check if a link is Nofollow? Download Firefox

Install the Firefox SEOQuake Plugin from the tools page.

Mister-Wong - Looks like DoFollow as well.
Unalog - Registration not currently available.
Jumptags - Appears to be NoFollow.

@arun - Yes, links from PR 0 do help to increase your PageRank and your inbound link count.

@reviewer of sites - I have added links to most of the above sites. I checked the links and they are DoFollow and they appear to be clean links. Google has the pages indexed where the links appear, and my link appears even on the Google cached version. However, the links are not showing up in my Link Diagnosis reports (www.linkdiagnosis.com). Do I just need to wait longer? Are they still being counted? Have any thoughts?

More links are starting to show up in the link diagnosis reports. I guess patience is definitely the key.

@dauclair I wouldn’t trust http://www.linkdiagnosis.com that much, for my domain the google webmaster tools show me 4x more links than this tool. Also patience is your key, that’s right, just add here and there a link to your site…some of the links always get crawled ;)

@author, thanks for the list, didn’t even know that there are so many social bookmarking sites now.
